Playful, colorful and festive, our Hot Air Balloon Solar Spinners are the first product of their kind to incorporate a realistic, LED flicker-flame lighting effect in a hanging kinetic wind sculpture. Produced from weatherproof PVC, the staves comprising the balloon envelope are louvered to catch the wind and produce rotational movement. The LED light stem underneath the solar module is composed of 18 pulsating amber LED's that give the appearance of natural gas being released into the balloon envelope at night. The effect created is nothing short of stunning! The 1.2v @ 600 mAh AAA Ni-MH battery (included) provides up to 4 hours of light time on a fully charged cell. Move the sliding on/off switch atop the solar module to the 'on' position, set it and forget it! The LED light stem will automatically activate at night when the photo sensor in the solar panel detects a low-light level condition. The stainless steel spring chain the balloon spinner hangs from provides a bouncing motion, giving the appearance of the balloon rising and lowering. Hang from an overhanging tree limb, a wall bracket, shepherd's rod, eave or soffit, as the possibilities are limitless.
