Our 10" dia. Rattan Solar Lantern strikes the perfect balance between rustic and contemporary styling and will elegantly enhance any outdoor setting it is displayed. Each piece is individually constructed by hand, taking naturally sourced rattan vine that is sun-dried for weather resistance and woven through and around an open steel wire ball which forms its shape. Located atop the lantern is a hanging LED solar light module containing a single rechargeable Ni-MH AAA battery. The single cell solar panel atop of the module absorbs sunlight during charging the battery inside, which in turn powers the single bright white LED underneath the module at night filling the sphere with voluminous light! The nighttime spectacle is otherworldly as the light passes through the interlaced openings.
